The Active Workspace Indexing Data for Searching course is a lesson extracted from the Active Workspace Customization & Configuration and Active Workspace Installation and System Administration courses, which will address the configuration of the Indexing Utility / Engine to Index data to display for searching. This course also addresses the configuration of preferences, and Business Modeler IDE constants to configure Filters, PreFilters and other configurable options.
Students will learn how execute indexes of data using the TcFTSIndexer utility, as well as how to make changes to a data model element and ensure that element is indexed correctly for searching. Various preferences and options will also be discussed to optimise and provide additional Filtering / Prefiltering options and other search related mechanisms.
This course is compatible with the following versions of Active Workspace: 3.3, 3.4

- Successful completion of the Application and Data Model Administration Advisor in Siemens Xcelerator Academy (score >70%). Siemens Xcelerator Academy courses can also be used to prepare for the prerequisite assessment.
