The overall goal of this course is to establish an efficient meshing workflow to support simulations containing geometries with hundreds to thousands of individual parts. Starting a simulation, part selection is mostly done statically. This course presents various techniques how to select parts for operations, regions, reports or scenes dynamically using tags, queries and filters.
The solid material is a mix of four components and is modeled as multi-part solid. What you can do with part subgroups and subgroupings is demonstrated at the example of physics value definition. Efficiently working with Simcenter STAR-CCM+ includes also adapting the layout, or displaying relevant information in a structured way, or by adding comments.
Once the setup is complete, the simulation file is then converted into a template simulation file to be easily re-used.
In an additional chapter, we are introducing Simulation Operations.
This course is intended for proficient Simcenter STAR-CCM+ users who want to learn more about efficiently working with the software.
