Thermal management of optical systems is critical due to its influence on lighting efficiency. This training course will cover the cross-effects between thermal, electrical and optical behaviors of lighting systems. The available models in Floefd to simulate those behaviors will be described and compared. The simulation of radiation (both infrared radiation and visible light) will be covered in details. The other main topic of this course deals with the simulation of humidity, condensation and  defogging using Floefd capabilities.
