The Simcenter 3D Multiphysics course provides students with comprehensive instruction in the use of Simcenter 3D Multiphysics environment to carry out thermal and multiphysics analysis quickly and easily. You will learn skills necessary to build or modify geometry, create a finite element mesh, define thermal and structural boundary conditions, and perform sophisticated thermal and thermal-structural analysis, including the analysis of turbomachinery in hybrid 2D/3D models. You will also learn how to use advanced modeling features to perform advanced radiation, 1D hydraulic network, articulation and motion, Joule heating and Peltier cooler modeling.

PREREQUISITES

  • Working knowledge of NX modeling, Basic understanding of finite element analysis.
