Starting with a lecture introducing Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) basics and objectives of corresponding combustion simulations, we will walk through the complete setup of a gasoline direct injection combustion simulation using Simcenter STAR-CCM+ In-Cylinder. Included are setup recommendations and details needing special attention. How Simcenter STAR-CCM+ In-Cylinder works in conjunction with Simcenter STAR-CCM+ behind the scenes finishes this course.
