Expert NX tool designers will acquire the skills to significantly reduce progressive die design lead time through Progressive Die Wizard automation. The curriculum mimics common tasks used in die construction and is reinforced using hands-on activities. Additionally, students are introduced to customization techniques needed to fully realize the potential of the Progressive Die Wizard libraries.

Progressive die designers & product design engineers who create progressive die tooling using the Progressive Die Wizard software application
PREREQUISITES
Required courses:
- Intermediate NX Design and Assemblies (TR10056-TC)
- Or successful completion of Essentials for Designers and Intermediate Design and Assemblies prerequisite assessments on the Siemens Xcelerator Academy (score >70%). Siemens Xcelerator Academy courses can also be used to prepare for the prerequisite assessments.
- Understand these concepts: modeling in NX, NX assembly concepts and have a basic understanding of progressive die design
- Have a working knowledge of the NX interface, sketch creation and NX assemblies
- It would be helpful to have taken the NX Sheet Metal course, but it is not required
