This course is designed to give new users experience creating and editing parametric models using the essential NX processes. Users will learn how to create sketches to capture design intent, how to model a part efficiently, as well as how to assemble parts into product assemblies, and produce basic part drawings.
This course is designed to teach a beginning NX CAM user the basics of Manufacturing a part with NX CAM. Topics covered include managing programming data, cavity milling, using coordinate systems, planar milling, hole milling, and fixed axis contouring.
This course teaches how to create fixed and variable axis tool paths and introduces users to NX workflows for machining contoured parts, high-speed machining methods, milling holes and threads, milling turbine blade type parts, and on machine probing.
